Aisling Bea

Aisling is a popular Irish comedian that has been in the business for a long time. She was born in Kildare, Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. The comedian has appeared on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, also known as Aisling "Bea", is a famous Irish actor and writer. Her birth date was March 16, 1984. Bea started her stand-up career in the year 2011, following appearances as a guest on a variety of Irish television shows and British series since 2009. By 2012 she was regularly appearing on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms. Following her win in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for various panel shows where she was a frequent guest. In 2016, and in 2017, she was the team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She is the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her sister, was also born. In 2012 she won the So You think You're Funny Award for the second time. Bea was awarded the award to honor her father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet, who took his own life after Bea reached the age of three, was an victim of self-harm. She was told about his passing at the age of thirteen. To honor her father, she adopted the stage name Bea and, in the year 2017, wrote an article about suicides and deaths that affected the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were raised in a home by Helen Moloney, who was a school educator and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. Their parents were both obsessed with horses and racing. Bea was a guide for her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her beginning years. But she was aware it wasn't something she wanted to do in a career and she preferred to perform.
